You’re barely off of the creative high that came from developing your last wildly successful big idea for your brand. Now the pressure is on to “out-do” yourself with something even bigger and better.

It‘s all too easy to fall away from the authenticity of your company’s brand when searching for the next big idea. But taking a step back and revisiting the original reasons your customers care about your brand might be the key to unlocking a deeper level of engagement.

Geno Church of Brains on Fire will focus on how you can simplify and refocus your word-of-mouth marketing strategy while growing your advocacy base.

Church will highlight the case study about how the National Center for Family Literacy (NCFL) took a seemingly complex issue like barriers to literacy in the U.S. and turned it into Wonderopolis, an online community where learning is encouraged through discovery and imagination.

So instead of being blinded by the latest bright, shiny marketing object, come learn how to get back to the basics and light the spark of a new movement within your organization.

About the Speaker
Geno Church
Geno Church is the Word of Mouth Inspiration Officer at Brains on Fire, but he considers himself more of a pathfinder for the firm’s clients. He’s walked down the path with Fiskars Brands, Best Buy, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, the American Booksellers Association, Charleston Parks Conservancy, Love146 and Rage Against the Haze (South Carolina’s youth-led anti-tobacco movement).  He likes uncovering the DNA of sustainable word of mouth movements. Geno has spoken around the world at places such as the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA), the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), American Marketing Association (AMA) and the World Africa Customer Management Conference.

About Brains on Fire
Brains on Fire

Born out of the bond between identity development and word of mouth marketing, Brains on Fire is dedicated to helping companies discover and sustain excitement about who they are and why they exist. They believe (strongly) that great brands are rooted in purpose, not profit. That they focus on relationships, not transactions. And that they thrive through movements, not campaigns.
