This is Twins Territory-The Mission

Tuesday February 14th, 2012

07:30 am - 09:00 am (Special Event)

In 2004, despite back-to-back American League Championships, Minnesota Twins’ attendance was declining, there were threats of league contraction and the possibility of a much-needed new ballpark was grim.

As a result, Periscope partnered with the Minnesota Twins to develop the Twins Territory campaign. The goals were to reignite the fan base, restore a sense of pride in the baseball team and in our state and bring these multi-million dollar players down to a level where fans could relate to them and support them at the gate.

Hear Patrick Klinger, Vice President of Marketing for the Minnesota Twins, and Charlie Callahan, Executive Creative Director at Periscope, tell the Twins Territory campaign story and how you can learn from their success.

What you’ll learn:

·         Get attention and be real

·         Make them fall in love with your brand

·         Stay consistent and don't take your foot off the gas!
